Just like dining in an Italian piazza, enjoy your favourite Eataly dishes outdoors at Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol! Our chefs have put together a curated menu of aperitivi,  Salumi e Formaggi boards including a collaboration with Cheese Boutique, Torino-style Pizza al Padellino, fresh housemade and artisanal dry pastas, plates inspired by seasonal ingredients, and more. Join us in the heart of Yorkville for outdoor dining on Bay & Bloor this summer.

A true Italian patio is not complete without food and drinks! The curated summertime beverage menu will include both classic choices like an authentic Aperol Spritz to innovative Italian cocktails, including Il Padrino, crafted with Luxardo Limoncello, Strega, lemon, and fennel flower. For the beer lovers, sip on craft beer from our local partner, Birroteca by Indie Alehouse, and new summer creations from our brewers. 

Our chefs have put together a menu filled with all of their summertime favourites, from Torino-style pizza al padellino topped with high-quality Italian and fresh seasonal ingredients to a variety of artisanal dry and fresh pasta dishes like Gnocchi al Pomodoro, featuring housemade potato gnocchi, Cosi Com’e Datterino tomatoes, authentic extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and basil. For our piatti, locally sourced ingredients will be the star of the table with fresh seafood from our local partner, Diana’s Seafood, responsibly-raised meat from Canadian farms, seasonal produce, and more. 

Looking to do happy hour the Italian way? Choose from an array of authentic Italian aperitivi, with choices like fresh housemade burrata, our Grande Piatto Misto di Salumi e Formaggi loaded with our chef’s selection of Italian cured meats and cheeses, fresh-from-the-grill spiedini, or Italian skewers, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.


Staying true to the identity of a piazza, we’re celebrating the coming together of the community through collaborations with Toronto-based retailers, bartenders, gelato-makers, and Italian-inspired activations to make the most of the summer sun. Meaning “The Board of Friendship,” this special cheeseboard between Eataly and Cheese Boutique is a celebration of community, high-quality food, and of course the perfect aperitivo. Perfect for sharing with your amici, this board was co-created with ingredients from both marketplaces and inspired by Italian summers, and is available exclusively on our patio. What will you find on Il Tagliere dell’Amicizia? Cheese Boutique’s Aperol Spritz-washed Friulano Cheese, Eataly’s housemade bread, Cheese Boutique’s Orange Marmellata, Eataly’s housemade Aperol Honey, an assortment of Italian Olives marinated in citrus and laurel, finished with Italian torrone. Try it with an Aperol Spritz this season!


An Italian staple, we can’t talk about a summer experience without talking about vino! We’re bringing back Wine Wednesdays, with monthly features of wines you won’t find on our regular menu.

For the month of July, our beverage experts are featuring some of their favourite Rosati from across Italy’s various regions.

Flight of Birroteca by Indie Alehouse beer paired with pizza al padellino


A weekly celebration of all things birra, featuring brews from our in-house brewery, Birroteca by Indie Alehouse, and a rotating selection of Ontario craft brewers like Sawdust and Dominion City.

Each month, we’ll feature a style of pizza from a different region of Italy available on Thursdays. For the month of August, our chefs are taking you to Lazio for Pinsa alla Romana. This oval-shaped Roman-style flatbread pizza is made with 3 different flours for a high-hydration dough that is light and airy on the inside and crisp on the outside.


All summer long, we’re welcoming local bartenders from some of Toronto’s top bars and restaurants to serve up special cocktails on our Bay St. patio space. Every Sunday from August 1 through 15, Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol guests will be able to enjoy cocktails from a very special group: Eataly’s own expert mixologists!

$1 from every signature cocktail sold during Sunday Summer Sips will be donated to FoodShare.

Afrim Pristine and CB Bottega Gelato Maker James with August Summer Scoop Flavour: Lemon Mint Cheesecake


Inspired by the innovativeness and high-quality gelato offered around Toronto, and knowing the local love for this frozen treat during the summer season (and all year long!), Eataly launched the Summer Scoop Series. From June through September, we’re partnering with a different Toronto gelato maker for a one-of-a-kind flavour using both their signature ingredients and flavours, as well as a selection of products found in Eataly’s marketplace.

Our August partner is CB Bottega, Cheese Boutique’s Cafe & Gelateria. This month’s feature flavour is Lemon Mint Cheesecake, featuring freshly squeezed lemon juice, Cheese Boutique’s housemade cream cheese, mint grown on-site at Cheese Boutique with seeds from Owner, Afrim Pristine’s own garden, and local whole milk from Sheldon Creek Dairy right from Eataly’s marketplace. Try their feature flavour at our Bloor St. gelato cart and counter long!

When you dine with us at Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol this summer, we promise we’ll follow protocols from the Public Health Agency of Canada and do all we can to ensure the safety of you and our team. At Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol, we are taking the following safety measures: capacity limits, limited contact with our team, hand sanitizing stations, spaced-out tables, a new reservation system to reduce crowds, and fully-sanitized tables and utensils between guest seatings.

During your time at Il Patio di Eataly with Aperol, we ask that you sanitize your hands, sneeze or cough into your elbow, and wear your mask before and after your meal. We also strongly recommend using cashless payment, using your smartphone or credit card.
