From April 25-27, join us at our first-ever edition of Pasta Camp hosted at Eataly Yorkville. This year we are celebrating Pasta Camp with Eataly’s first-ever line of pasta! Made with heirloom Italian wheat and mountain spring water, its classic shapes are the result of Eataly’s relationship with Italy’s finest pasta artisans.

From a classic walk-around tasting event to a hands-on seminar hosted at our Scuola, there is an event catered to every taste.

On Friday, April 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., join us to celebrate Eataly Pasta with a special Pasta walk-around! Explore our marketplace to taste your way through 6 different stations featuring pasta and pasta-inspired dishes. What’s on the menu? Think: pasta popcorn, rigatoni alla gricia and more! Come join us celebrating our new curated pasta and learn new ways to prepare and serve this beloved culinary staple! Don’t miss out on this delicious journey.

What makes Eataly’s Pasta delicious?

The first secret of this amazing Eataly pasta is the land where the wheat is cultivated. Situated at the foot of Monte Lattari, Gragnano benefits from a microclimate made of the right mix of wind, sun, and humidity.

The second secret is the carefully-developed process, which continues to be regulated by a strict standard of production.

Finally, the dough must be extruded through rough bronze forms and, once it has taken shape, dry at low temperatures in the mountain air. The result of this long and traditional process is one of the finest pastas in the world.

Cacio e Pepe Popcorn Vesuvio — Crispy Pasta with Pecorino Romano and black pepper

Insalata — Shaved Cauliflower Salad with pecorino dressing

Pasta Fredda — Mezzi Paccheri with Olive Pesto and Stracciatella

Rigatoni alla Gricia —Rigatoni pasta with Pecorino Romano, back pepper, and guanciale.

Penne alla Norma — Pasta with tomatoes, eggplants, and ricotta salata

Crostata — Pastry cream-filled pie crust topped with fresh berries

PASTA SEMINAR AT LA SCUOLA

Saturday, April 27 at 12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Join us at La Scuola di Eataly Yorkville to celebrate our new pasta line and focus on learning all the secrets behind the southern Italian traditions when preparing fresh pasta. There are two Eataly Pasta Seminar Experiences happening on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27.

Learn how to knead semolina pasta dough and learn about the art of fresh unfilled pasta making. Our Scuola chef will demonstrate how to make and shape some of Eataly’s favourite fresh pastas. Think cavatelli, orecchiette or capunti.

The experience will begin with two pasta dishes made by our Chef, who will prepare two different and delicious southern Italian pasta dishes. You will enjoy them with a glass of wine for a perfectly traditional Italian meal. One of the dishes will be done using dry pasta, whilst the other dish will use fresh pasta, so guests can compare and learn the differences in the preparation process and taste. Guests will also receive a complimentary box of our brand new Eataly Pasta.
