ABOUT SOMA CHOCOLATEMAKER
Soma Chocolatemaker is a small award winning maker of chocolate and confections in Toronto. Started in 2003 by David Castellan a pastry chef and Cynthia Leung an architect/artist they lead a small team in exploring the world of chocolate.
Cacao beans are sourced from farms around the world and through a series of fascinating steps and machines made into chocolate. The chocolate is made into bars, truffles, gelato, baked into cookies and funky confections paired with beautiful ingredients.
There are 2 cafe shops and a new chocolate factory you can visit and see, smell, and taste the chocolate being made. We call them portals into the chocolate lands.
