Community Giving at Eataly

Our community giving program, led out of our stores, reflects our longstanding belief that good food has the power to create positive change — for people, the planet, and our communities. As a global ambassador for Italian food excellence, we recognize the importance of a healthy food system and the individuals and groups that power it. The initiatives we support, therefore, are ones that nourish communities, celebrate culture, and protect the ecosystems that sustain us.

We focus efforts on where we can make the greatest impact: from advancing food education for youth and addressing food insecurity through thoughtful food recovery, to investing in sustainable or positive agriculture projects. and supporting the next generation of hospitality professionals. We also champion the preservation and evolution of Italian heritage, honoring the artisans, traditions, and innovations that define it.

Eligibility

• We donate to registered US 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and registered Canadian charitable organizations. All requesting organizations must be able to demonstrate verified non-profit status.

• Donations for events or projects must directly benefit the communities where we operate in the U.S. and Canada and be in line with the core areas outlined above.

We do not donate to:

• Individual requests, to benefit a person or family

• Religious organizations and institutions

• Minor league sports team

• Non-registered agencies or charities

• For-profit business

• Organizations that discriminate towards any racial, ethnic or cultural group
